Previously on Wild Hunt~

"She is under water. The ice cracked from underneath her as she touched the tree", he spat out. "Save her!" The deer quickly backtracked to the tree.

Bleating he panicked, "I was just born, I don't know how to grant wishes yet!" Worry kept Lukas from feeling bad for the baby deer. "If she dies, you'll follow" With that last threat, he dove into the water, which was surprisingly warm.

~Lukas POV~

Lukas looked around frantically to try to find (Name) . Spotting her in the water, he swam over, not even noticing that her eyes were open and that she saw him swimming directly toward her with a blindfold on. Suddenly, something caught on the pendant that his mother gave him.

*Flashback*

When Lukas was 6:

"Come on! You can't do, chicken!" Mathias taunted from the top of the tree. "It's not even that high!"

That was it! "I can so!" Lukas began as he started to climb. "Ha!"

Suddenly his foot slipped on the wet bark. He was falling! Screaming and flailing as adrenalin worked it's way through his system, Lukas hit the ground head first, feeling a sharp pain in his head as he landed. With a screech of pain, everything went black.

It was dark, all dark. "Mommy!" He called out. Hurried footsteps rushed over to his side and suddenly his mother was there comforting him. "I can't see!" He burst out between sobs.

"Shhhh, it'll be okay." His mother replied with a voice tight with controlled fear. "It'll be okay." She had led him to his room and tucked him in. She walked out into the hallway, closing the door quietly behind her. Gesturing for one of her handmaidens, she whispered.

"Get the court physician and magician."

Later:

Lukas was scared. He had his eyes wide open but everything was dark. Two scary men had come to 'check' on him. They said he was... blind? His mommy was having a conversation with the one with the funny accent. They stopped when they saw him looking in the direction of the noises.

Footsteps approached. "It'll be alright love" he said to your mother. There was a sound of someone kneeling down. "Hey lad, I have something for you. A necklace, it might make the dark go away." Lukas sniffled, wiping his tiny hands to dry the tears on his face. "Okay" The man touched his shoulder gently at first, then slowly placed a thin rope around his neck. Suddenly, everything came into focus, in shades (of gray XD ) of white, gray and black. Lukas looked up at his mother. "Mommy?" He asked reaching out to her. "Yes, darling." She responded joyfully, using a tissue to dab a the tears that streamed down her face. "Thank you so much Arthur!" She said, tackling the man with the funny eyebrows. "Never take off that necklace Lukas, do you hear me? Or else the dark will come back. And don't tell people that your blind, or else they will be mean." She looked around the room at the other men. They bowed, "Of course, my queen."

*Flashback Over*

Lukas struggled to pull away from the thing that caught on his necklace but it got torn away. The terrifying feeling of being blind and underwater hit him both at the same time as he put the last dregs of his energy into grabbing (Name) and swimming to the surface. Hitting the top and breathing deeply, he tried to look around before remembering he couldn't see. Teeth grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled both him and (Name) toward the edge of the water. Pulling himself onto the land, he coughed up some water. Lukas could hear breathing nearby, most likely from the deer and (Name) . He scrambled around, missing the coordination that he had when he could 'see'.

"Apologize" It said, with humor in it's voice.

Battling with his pride, he finally spit it out. "I'm... sorry... for threatening you." He could feel the smugness radiating off the deer, without even needing to see it.

"Out of the kindness of my heart, I'll grant your wish." A furry nose touched his forehead and blinding light hit him. Doubled over, Lukas blinked repeatedly to clear his eyes which had not seen color for about 17 years. He could see the whiteness of the deer and the snow, the beautiful (H/c) of (Name) 's hair and the beautiful, golden rays of the setting sun.

Setting!!!! Lukas started frantically wringing out his clothes and turned around to look at (Name) who was whispering to the deer. He grabbed you and flung you on your horse, jumping onto his horse as he led them both back to the castle. Trumpets announced your arrival as the King Tino flung himself to hug you. All the princes watched in concern and worry with their blindfolds off. Guessing from the recent events, the glares they were throwing at him and the tired looks on thier faces, Lukas could deduce that they didn't find the stag.

"D'd you f'nd the st'g? King Berwald asked.
